Daily Wendy

A few snapshots of a typical day with Wendy:

Wearing her basket as a hat and pushing her vegetables around in her stroller

Wearing her pajamas as a cape (she likes opening her pajama drawer and trying to put them on, but she gets frustrated when they won't stay put)

The three of us went to the grocery store and while I was picking out some produce Wendy took matters into her own hands.

Tim Tam Slam

We had a good slam session for our last night in Washington. It was a pretty fun time with everyone. My dad got into it and really slammed the cookie into his face, ha!

Traveling back to Utah

We flew from Washington to Utah on Monday the 28th. Our morning consisted of snacking on apples, sitting on the fireplace, trying on shoes and packing all of our belongings. It was a long day of travel but we made it home and Wendy was a champ for the whole thing.

Wendy has been favoring her car seat for naps lately. She just can't resist falling asleep.

Goodbye dear Washington. Ending on a rainy note, just like we'd expect from the PNW.

Frontrunner train home after a long time spent in the airport and on the plane.

Our little monkey was a little wiggly after so many hours of sitting still

Date to Hearthfire

Jeff and I went on a fancy lunch date to a lovely restaurant overlooking the Puget Sound. It was so fun to go out just the two of us, and the meal itself was quite delicious. We got a cup of tomato basil soup, a chicken Cobb salad and a steak sandwich. Mm, mm.

Starbucks for Hot Cocoa

We hiked around my parents property in rather chilly weather so we all stopped into Starbucks for some hot cocoa to warm up. We got a steamed milk and Wendy just loved it. And the view!

Christmas Day

A few snapshots of our Christmas celebrations.

Brown paper packages tied up with string

Our little photographer. Wendy loves when we have the camera on the tripod. We have been teaching her to look through the viewfinder but she usually just peeks over the top of the camera. So cute!

One of her favourite presents was a set of crayons and a big roll of white butcher paper from Jeff.

She also loved a little photo album of friends and family.

Wendy and Mrs. Nesbits, her new favorite buddy.
