Driving Home from California

The drive home to Utah was pretty brutal. We left at 7 am California time and arrived home about 12 hours later. Holiday traffic, construction, snow and accidents added a good bit of time to th drive. We are very grateful for how Wendy did on the drive. We put a few movies on the iPad just in case and boy were we glad to have them. We don't let Wendy watch anything but this was a rare exception. She got a kick out of big bird and Buzz Lightyear. 

At least the view was pretty and we only spent the last hour in the dark.

The last stretch was very slow going with snow and accidents, so we made a little pit stop to change a diaper and use the restroom. Wendy found a container of Fruit Loops and made a few laps around the convenience store. We were all very relieved to make it home.
