Madison Leaves Provo

My sweet little sister left Provo yesterday after being here for a year. She's lived right across the street from us (literally) which ended up being so fun. I loved getting to see her so often and Wendy came to think Madison was her second mom, ha! She really did love seeing her aunt Madison so often as she would come over rather frequently. She was my buddy while Jeff was at work or class and was a huge help with keeping me company while Jeff was so busy. But alas, the sad day had to come for her to leave. The good thing is, she's leaving to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, so I can't be too sad about that. Somehow it ended up being just me, Madison and Wendy who moved Madison into her apartment and out of her apartment. Did I mention it was on the third floor? Let's just say we were really sweaty after carrying boxes and suitcases down all those stairs on a scorching hot day. That's how much I love my sister.

Madison in her now former apartment. Isn't she cute?

How I feel about moving all her stuff into our car.

Wendy wasn't quite ready for the photo. We were all done packing! My back was drenched in sweat and poor Wendy was pressed right up against it. TMI, sorry.

After Madison and I had loaded up the Subaru, we met Dayna and her kids at NuSkin's restaurant "The Spoon" for some smoothies! They were a hit.

Dayna and her kids said goodbye to Madison after we explored the grounds of NuSkin, which are right by the new City Center Temple. It was a fun last outing with the three sisters.

Wendy and I took Madison to the Frontrunner station so she could make it up to the airport for her flight back to Washington. We had a few minutes to snap some last photos and say some wet-eyed goodbyes. We love Madison so much and it was hard to see her go! We're so excited for her adventures as a missionary in Ecuador and are so proud of her decision to serve. She is going to be the cutest little sister missionary!
