Fall Leaves

Dad taught Wendy how to throw leaves in the air and she just thinks it is the best thing in the world!

Testing Center

We took a walk to the testing center this morning to visit some friends we knew would be working. Linda (the boss and the testing center itself) is retiring this semester so we wanted to make sure we made it up to say hello. She was so cute showing Wendy around and helping her learn how to stamp and file papers. Jorie and Emma were equally as sweet in letting Wendy explore and try on name tags and play with the calculators. It was a fun visit for everyone.

Playing with cousins

We visited our cousins yesterday while out running errands. Wendy had so much fun with these two and could've played there all day.

Rock Canyon with Hannah and Jane

We've been going on a hike with friends the past few Monday mornings. This time it was just Wendy, myself, Hannah and Jane. We let the little ones walk a good ways on their own and Wendy would have gone all the way up the mountainside if I would've let her. We hiked and explored a fun little cave and admired the changing colours up the canyon.

Trip to Smiths

Wendy and I made a grocery run to Simths while Reesa was at the Women's Broadcast. We had some fun in the Halloween aisle.

Pillow Doll Birthday Present

A little baby friend has a birthday so I made her a pillow doll and Wendy helped with the card.

Sunday Walk

Jeff has meetings Sunday mornings from early to the start of church so Wendy and I usually go for a walk before her first nap. Today we went exploring and Wendy found a couple fallen apples in our neighbor's yard that she carried for the entire walk. When we were ready to turn around I told her we were going to go see dad and she followed me quickly. We borrowed Jeff for a few minutes so we could say hello and so Wendy could point out to him the tall church steeple and leaves on the ground.

Fall cap

I finally had the chance to sit down and sew (hallelujah) so I worked on a project I've been doing to make...a little fall cap with a brim to keep the sun out of her eyes. I'm happy with how it turned out, although I have some adjustments I'd like to make on the pattern for next time. We took a walk downtown by the new City Center Temple and Wendy loved pointing at the Angel Moroni and seeing the beautiful new building.

Mama and Wendy

Wendy was helping me organize baby clothes on our bed, and we needed a break from all our work. So of course we took some pictures. Wendy loves seeing herself on the camera so she hams it up.
