Chalk the Block

We went to the annual "Chalk the Block" festival at the Riverwoods with the Whipples last night. It was our third time going, and it was fun to be there with friends. It was blazing hot, but we still enjoyed looking at all of the impressive art work in each parking stall. The theme was 'Sea to Shining Sea' which meant a lot of patriotic pieces and a few appearances featuring the Seattle Space Needle (that made me proud). Wendy loved practicing her chalk art skills and was very interested in the big crowds and colorful art.
