General Conference

We had a very lovely Conference weekend. Saturday was spent at our place, watching the general authorities up close and personal on the computer.

We were finishing lunch as the second session started which meant we sustained our leaders by raising our right hand. Wendy caught on quickly and raised her hand whenever we did. It was sooooo cute!

Sunday morning was spent with cousins which meant lots of fun and activities. Wendy loved coloring, chasing her cousins around, watching the TV from two inches away and being in a space other than our living room.

The girls were so sweet coloring together.

And then it was just Wendy and it was still just as cute.

Wendy learned how to duck under the bridge made of little legs.

She really enjoyed the popcorn and ate a few pieces off the floor. It was pretty hilarious.

She also liked the fun, colorful fuzzies.

She did not, however, enjoy the stickers quite as much.

Wendy loved snuggling with daddy and her cousin buddy.

And she gave her kisses (which she's gotten really good at lately...for better or for worse).

And then it was time to pile on top of Uncle Jeff!

We enjoyed the last session of conference back at our home and Wendy had fun with a little package of conference activities courtesy of Randma Cornwall.

She loved the bright shoe laces and had dad help her lace them through the fun photo cut-outs.

And then she got up close and personal while watching...again.

We celebrated our wonderful conference weekend with a delightful stroll around the block. Wendy has been reaching for our hands more often lately while we talk together which we don't mind ooooone bit. These two bring my heart so much joy. I am so grateful for our little family and to know that we have each other forever. Family really is the center life and is the only way to find lasting fulfilment  and happiness.
