An amazing spread of homemade potstickers, fresh mixed greens, Greek yogurt with berries and a lemon-ginger water. It was so good.
Wendy loved Margot, although she was a little hesitant to get too close since she was about half her size.
Wendy loved the cat and did so well petting it softly. She would get really close and wave "hi". The cat stayed under the table while we finished eating and Wendy would very frequently demand our attention so she could excitedly point out that the cat was still there.
Morinda introduced Wendy to a set of Matryoshka dolls and named them various Russian titles like Natasha, Natalia, Sasha, etc.
It was just the best lunch date ever. It made our day so, so great and I left (as usual upon departing the Cottams) with a renewed love for the simple pleasures of my imperfect yet beautiful life.
